1. No professional advice

StatsToTable is software. It does not provide statistical, methodological or professional advice, and nothing it produces should be relied on as such. Decisions about study design, the suitability of an analysis, and the interpretation of results remain yours.

2. Verification of results

Procedures are implemented using standard formulas and validated against published critical values, hand computation and independent numerical methods, as documented in the verification record. That record also identifies the areas that have not been validated.

Despite this, statistical software can produce plausible output from an inappropriate design, a misclassified variable or an unclean dataset. Before relying on any result for publication or decision-making, verify it independently or consult a qualified statistician.

3. Known differences from other software

The following differences are intentional and are documented in the method notes:

4. No guarantee of acceptance

Exported tables follow the three-line convention and reporting sentences follow APA style, but journals, supervisors and ethics committees apply their own requirements. No outcome of any submission is guaranteed or implied.

5. Your data and your obligations

Data files are processed in your browser and are never transmitted to us. As a consequence, we cannot back up, recover or restore them. You are responsible for maintaining your own copies, and for confirming that a browser-local workflow satisfies any institutional or regulatory requirements that apply to your data.
