StatsToTable

Drop in a data file.
Get a table you can submit.

StatsToTable works out which test your data calls for, checks the assumptions behind it, and exports a three-line table with an APA sentence you can paste into a manuscript. No install, nothing uploaded — the first table takes about ten minutes.

What StatsToTable does

StatsToTable takes a data file and returns the statistical table a paper needs. Drop in a .sav, .xlsx or .csv, answer one question about what you are comparing, and get a three-line table with an APA sentence you can paste into a manuscript.

It is not a replacement for SPSS. It covers the analyses most papers actually run, and it does the two things that take the longest: choosing the right procedure, and formatting the output so a reviewer will accept it.

The four steps

StepWhat happens
Drop a file.sav, .xlsx or .csv — read in the browser, never uploaded
Check the dataVariable types, missing values and anything that would break an analysis are flagged before you run anything
State the question"Compare two groups", "measure the same people three times" — the procedure is selected from the design, not from a menu of tests
ExportA three-line table and an APA sentence, as Word or as a self-contained HTML report

What it covers

Independent and paired t tests, one-way and repeated-measures ANOVA, Mann–Whitney, Wilcoxon, Kruskal–Wallis, Friedman, chi-square, Fisher's exact test, Pearson and Spearman correlation, linear and logistic regression, and Cronbach's alpha. Every procedure reports the assumption checks behind it — normality, equal variance, sphericity, expected cell counts — and switches to the appropriate alternative when an assumption fails.

What it deliberately does not do

No complex survey weights, no multilevel or structural equation models, no multinomial regression, no post-hoc pairwise comparisons, and no automatic interpretation of results. It produces statistical statements, not conclusions. If your design needs any of those, it is the wrong tool and no amount of convenience changes that.

Free, and what the price buys

Every analysis, the data checkup, CSV download and clipboard copy are free and unmetered. A free account gets one report export per calendar month. Pro is a single yearly price of $49.90 for unlimited exports — no monthly plan, no tiers, no pro-rata.

Nothing is uploaded

Parsing, statistics and the Word export all run in the page. There is no upload step and no server holding your data, which is why the tool is usable with patient or otherwise restricted files without a data transfer agreement. The verification record documents how each procedure was checked, including what has not been verified.
